In India, Delhi, Faridabad, Varanasi, Amritsar and Jaipur are few of the cities who lead the wholesale market of scarves and do huge business throughout the year. Fashion today has increased the business of wholesale scarves because it is not only been worn by females but also by males specially in metros.

Many Indian fashion designers are putting their efforts in this business but cannot sustain for long time because their concentration is more on designs of the fabric than selling scarves. So smart manufactures many a times appoint known designers to work on scarves and act as an wholesalers and do selling on large scale.

Wholesalers being a chain between manufacturers and retailers need to play very smart. Many a times wholesalers can act as a manufacturers as well as retailers; but when they act as a proper wholesalers they need to supply scarves right from roadside shop to big malls hence need to be careful while making deal. Wholesalers in India are more interested in selling malls than roadside shop due to profit differences but at the same time wholesalers face tough time because malls have wide choice of selecting wholesalers.

Doing business of scarves wholesale is quite an easy task but doesn’t seems to be prolong. If one wants to remain in this business for long time than need of start scarf exports to the other countries abroad because of its fluctuating nature of demand.
