While it is a world phenomenon, certain parts of India that have usually
experienced mild winters, with no major temperature fluctuations, in the
last couple of years have had colder winters than normal. In fact,
cities and towns that used to experience rather mild winters did not
necessitate one to wear anything more than a sweater, as far as winter
wear is concerned. However, now those regions have brought in the
necessary fashion of winter coats for women.

The women's winter coats are either the full length ones, or the
shorter, trendy options. The basic differentiation between those for
women and men is in the cut, while the style maybe almost similar. Those

While the winters are rather cold in the northern belt of India,

ranging from something unimaginably cheap, to a designer label of
international repute that could cost a large part of one’s monthly pay
cheque. Thus, women's winter coats are available at the wayside roads
owned by the hawkers, as well as the departmental stores.
Going towards the southern regions of India, the winters are not too
cold, yet are cooler than they used to be until a couple of years ago.
The coats required in the southern winters need not be the woolen or
tweed ones. These are generally made from lighter fabric, that
