Seems like a strange hobby, but yes people do collect
teddy bears. And not just kids, but adults too. In fact teddy bears is
considered a gift you can give anyone, no matter what the age; male or
female. Here’s one really helpful tip; if you have just fought with your
sweetheart then get her a teddy bear and a box of chocolates and that
will iron out things. Collectible bears may not have a premium selling value unless it has belonged to someone who hails or has hailed from the rich and famous fraternity. This basically means, a bear that belonged to the famous individual could be sold for a hefty sum of money. Even bears from various countries could be considered as collectibles. This is because the features of this soft toy vary according to the predominant physical and culture features of a place. Children enjoy cuddling upto their furry friend, because of its texture. It makes them comfortable. And especially when the mother is busy in the kitchen, the warmth of the teddy bear is said to make up for her absence when the child sleeps. As mentioned earlier, collectible bears may not have a saleable value unless it has a glorious past, but it does have immense emotional value. This is because it is amongst the most gifted objects.
