The ideal place to keep your colored glass vases is on
the windowsill. The rays of the sun seeping through these vases add
color to the room. The glass is initially put through a process where it
is dyed into the particular color and then molded into the various
shapes in which it is sold as vases. There are a variety of colored glass vases. You could purchase these flower holders made of thinner and more delicate glass or the thicker standards. Then they are available with a translucent finish. There are even transparent colored ones. Another unique type of vase is the stained glass vase. They have various designs ranging from the gothic to the traditional Indian ones. In fact you could create your own colored glass vase at home by purchasing clear glass ones and painting them with stained glass paints. It is something you could also get your kids to do during the vacations, giving them a chance to make something colorful for the home. Whiles you may get a variety of colored vases made from glass, you must make sure that whatever you buy goes with your décor. Also, when arranging flowers, you should put flowers in that complement the vase. For instance, white, yellow and pink flowers would go well in the darker vases; and red roses and carnations would fit well in the lighter ones. ~ author Karishma Bajaj.
