wildlife sculpture

Wildlife represents freedom, liberation, power, supremacy, etc. It forms one of the themes of many interiors. Whether it is the restaurant, hotel or residence, at least one wildlife sculpture would be placed somewhere. Lions and tigers in various poses are amongst the commonly found artifacts in many homes. In fact the royal mansions in India and across the globe still house wildlife sculpture. Most of these sculptures are of the animals on the move.

In USA the sculpture of the eagle and vulture are found in many homes and commercial premises. In fact in the southern regions of India one of the expensive wildlife sculptures available is that of elephants chiseled out of ivory.

These pieces of art can be placed as showpieces on the side table of the drawing room or can be hung on the walls of the home or office. Some people keep life size sculptures of a wild animal at the entrance of their homes. People who follow the Chinese horoscope purchase a statue of the wild animal that symbolizes the year of their birth.
