Even though hair loss has been regarded as natural during the later stages of life, today in India, like anywhere else in the world, it has become a more serious problem in general. It is no more age-specific. In fact an increasing number of younger people are suffering from this problem. Thinning hair at a younger age maybe a result of varied factors. These include, immense stress that triggers hormonal imbalance; pollution; illness; side-effect of certain medication and treatment such as Chemotherapy; irregular food in take; or excessive use of chemicals in the form of hair color and other such aesthetic hair treatments. Whatever maybe the cause, one has to tackle the problem rather than just worry about it.

Since hair thinning is becoming a major concern in India, an increasing number of hair specialists are constantly working on various therapies and methods to cure and reduce the problem. While there are allopathic drugs and various international brands dealing with hair loss, Indian hair specialists prefer natural methods for dealing with this problem. From home remedies to herbal oils and massages, to regularizing one’s diet, all is being tried and tested.

However, what one must keep in mind that though hair loss problem is a general malady most people are suffering from, yet its treatment is case specific. This is because the factors contributing to one’s baldness is different from another’s.
